Production & description

Yellow soft paraffin is a mixture of fei-solid hydrocarbons, obtained from petroleium. It may contain a suitable antioxidant.

Our Yellow Vaseline Ph. Eur. is stabilized with alpha-tocopherol and refined to meet the high standards of the European Pharmacopoeia (Ph. Eur.).

A yellow, translucent, unctuous mass, slightly fluorescent in daylight when melted; practically insoluble in water, slightly soluble in methylene chloride, practically insoluble in ethanol 96% and in glycerol.
